Had our first visit to the Thirst Parlor. The food was excellent. I've never had dill pickle soup before, it was amazing and homemade. My husband had the chicken noodle soup, also said it was excellent and homemade. We both had the perch dinner, very good and the portions are huge. Service was great, our waitress was friendly and attentive.

NOTE TO OWNER: why did you change the fries to these cheaper fake fries ? please change back to real French fries, doesn’t matter if it’s crinkle or regular just stop using these fake fries, and stop serving lettuce with black spots on them, this isn’t the first time I’ve gotten lettuce with black spots on them, your food is too good for these kinds of issues. Also your salsa had a very bad taste to it so I didn’t eat it, I was worried there was something wrong with it. I’m still giving this a 5 star rating cuz I like the place, I like the people, I like the food, but please take these issues into consideration !

Stopped in today to have lunch for St.Pattys Day, so happy we did!the atmosphere was great, love the decor very clean. The food was delicious they did a great job on the menu , our server Colleen was very nice and attentive. My husband and daughter also raved about how good it was and that says a lot because my daughter is very picky! The Ruben sliders and Ruben sandwich were fantastic! Keep up the great work! We will def be back soon! 10/10

The burger is huge and on a pretzel roll to make it even better, 2 half pound burgers making it a full pound, haven’t found a place with this big of a burger and to top that off it’s a fresh burger not frozen! Kayla was our server and she was super friendly, this place is a cool lil neighborhood bar and grille ? Highly recommend the burger on the pretzel roll, even the regular burger is big it’s a half pound ! I met the owner he’s a cool guy too !

This was our first time here and it did not disappoint. The Dill pickle soup and french onion soup were delicious. I had the grilled chicken salad, love that it was romaine lettuce and not cheap iceberg, plenty of grilled chicken. One person got smoked turkey breast on a pretzel roll, she enjoyed it. Then other person had a burger which she enjoyed. Very juicy and the homemade chips are so good and no salt which is even better. Our waitress Ariana was amazing, very attentive and excellent customer service. We will definitely be back!

The food is always fresh and delicious, served by friendly & courteous waitresses. The Friday fish fry special is amazing, as it comes with great homemade potato chips & coleslaw, plus soup or salad — try the outstanding chili soup! The Tuesday night burger special (2 combos for 20) is fantastic. And the 20 Thursday & Saturday special 12-oz. NY strip steak with baked potato & salad is yummy. We split one and it was plenty for the both of us. You’re missing out big time if you haven’t eaten here! It will become one of your favorite go-to places to dine for reliable, delicious food in a cozy, nice atmosphere.

Thirst Parlor is one of my favorite local spots for food and drinks. Gets busy on weekend and trivia nights but besides that it’s usually pretty low-key and not busy. The food is great, I especially like the Cajun Burger. The waitresses are all friendly and awesome. Great weekday lunch deals too.

Was interested in visiting since I read an article about the locations history... then I saw a fb picture of the Dill Pickle Pizza and was sold! Very cool decor for a history buff and great views for the Lions game. Enjoyed French Onion Soup, Fried Pickle Chips, and of course the Dill Pickle Pizza! Oh... and they have the good ranch! Very moderately priced and kind staff. Looking forward to coming back soon.
